Japan Day Charity Initiative
Since 2008, Japan Day @ Central Park has dedicated itself to numerous charity efforts. In cooperation with the Central Park Conservancy, we have put special effort into initiatives to plant cherry trees in Central Park since 2009. This year, the donations we collect will go toward the Conservancy’s efforts to manage and sustain our beautiful host park.
Please visit our Charity Tent during the event to donate to this initiative! With your donation of $20 or more, you will receive an official Japan Day t-shirt, featuring original artwork by this year's Japan Day Art Contest winner Kaori Murakami. All donations collected at the Charity Tent will go directly to the Central Park Conservancy to support them in their mission to restore, manage, and enhance Central Park.
